Biochemist and TV presenter whose best known as host of BBC1's popular science magazine show, Bang Goes The Theory. She's also known for various science related hosting gigs, including BBC2's Museum Of Life and Horizon, as well as BBC1s Super Smart Animals and Animals In Love.
She began her career as a member of the Irish girl band Chill, which led to her first presenting job at the IRMA Music Awards.
She was awarded IET's Young Woman Engineer of the Year and the Natural History Museum's Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award.
She was born in France, but moved to Ireland when she was nine years old.
She co-presented BBC2's Cats v Dogs: Which is Best? alongside Chris Packham.
