Rose to fame in her breakout role as Zora Greenleaf in the OWN series Greenleaf.
He career began in 2009 when her manager discovered her at an acting school in New York City. Not long after, she booked her first national commercial with JCPenney.
In 2017, she joined the cast of the drama Monster alongside Jennifer Ehle and Jennifer Hudson.
Though she grew up in the Bronx, she settled with her parents, twin sister, and younger sister and brother in Orange County, California.
