Mexican track and field athlete specializing in the long jump who won a gold medal at the 2013 Universiade. He took home the bronze at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics the same year.
He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
His 8.46 meter jump at the 2013 Universiade set a Universiade record.
His brother, Edgar, was a high jump champion.
