Astrophysicist who is most famous for developing Saha Equation, which describes chemical and physical conditions of stars. He was also the President of the 21st session of the Indian Science Congress in 1934.
He attended Dhaka College and was a professor at Allahabad University.
The Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics was founded in his honor in 1943.
He was born into a poor family led by his father, Jagannath Saha.
