Myia Elliott was born, is Actress, Producer, Writer. Myia was born in Belfast in N.Ireland and grew up in the Republic of Ireland. She resides in Los Angeles where she has a production company called Irish F -ing Attitude. She is a graduate of the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York which has a long list of Oscar and tony winners (AADA). In acting Myia has also trained with The Guildhall London, LAMDA, The Gaiety School of Acting.She has a degree in Philosophy from University College Dublin.She is an active member in SMPTE in Hollywood and is also a full Member of the Irish film and Television Academy as well as Irish Equity, British equity and SAG/AFTRA.She is passionate about changing the level of access for women in cinema in front of and behind the camera and encouraging a more open and inclusive environment for women in film. Loving the Technology as well as the artistic aspects of the film industry she is a woman in film who is also a certified movi gimbal tech and Red camera certified. As well as a Qualified DIT and editor for a full HDR Aces workflow. As a talented painter and artist she also attended The Gnomon school for visual effects and does photography.She is classically trained in singing with the world renowned Veronica Dunne at the Leinster school of music. . Myia spent years playing sports and training in a variety of martial arts including Judo, Krav Maga, boxing,Jujitsu, Senshido and she has weapons training including Samurai sword and Broad sword. she is an expert Horse rider.
