Famous as an acoustic Guitarist for a South Korean music group called Tree Bicycle, he is also well known as a Songwriter. He wrote "One More Time" for the 2009 South Korean television series Boys Over Flowers and co-wrote the B1A4 boy band's single "Oh My God."
He spent his earliest days in Gwangju and the rest of his childhood in Paju, South Korea.
