17th century Filipino saint who was martyred in Guam for his religious beliefs and missionary work.
At 14 he was chose to accompany the Jesuits in their mission to the Ladrones Islands.
He was persecuted partially because of a false rumor that spread about the baptismal water being poisoned.
Not much is known about his family.
He was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 2000.
