Author of the children's book series The School for Good and Evil. The first novel of the series debuted on the New York Times Bestseller List and would later be adapted into a feature film.
He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English & American Literature from Harvard University. He attended Columbia University and was part of their MFA Film Program.
The follow ups to The School for Good and Evil, A World Without Princes and The Last Ever After, both debuted on the New York Times Bestseller List as well.
His family was one the few of Indian descent to reside in Key Biscayne, Florida.
He and Nancy Yi Fan are both novelists who completed their undergraduate studies at Harvard.
