Kishan is the nephew of cinematographers Chota K. Naidu and Shyam K. Naidu. In 2008, he assisted Director Gautham Menon on Vaaranam Aayiram. He sang "Cell Phone-lu Balance" song in the movie "Idega Asapaddav". and moved to Hyderabad that same year.
Deva Katta referred Kishan to his friends, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., which led to Kishan's casting in his first Hindi venture, Shor in the City. He also did a Telugu movie DK Bose (2013) opposite Nisha Aggarwal.
Sundeep Kishan stated that he was very happy since his 2015 released film Tiger was appreciated by Tollywood stars like Ravi Teja, Allu Arjun and R. Narayana Murthy. He has also acteds in Venkatadri Express , Ra Ra... Krishnayya. After Maanagaram, Sundeep has signed for his next Tamil project Aram Seithu Pazhagu, which is directed by Suseenthiran.
