2004

Mani was born in Tennessee and graduated from Dickson County High School in Dickson in 2004. She attended Emerson College in Boston where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in writing, literature, and publishing. While studying, Mani started her career as a stand-up Comedian. After graduating in 2008 she joined the Upright Citizens Brigade and received training in improvisational comedy for three years.

She gained public recognition by her dance performance in music video of the song "Turn Down for What" which was released in December 2013. Mani also appeared in drama–thriller television series Mr. Robot as Trenton.
