Politician and attorney who became the Chair of the Democratic National Committee in February 2017. Previously, he served as the 26th United States Secretary of Labor and as an Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights.
He earned a bachelor's degree in international relations and political science from Brown University in 1983.
