Japanese actor and singer who is best known for being a part of the music group, Hey!Say!JUMP and for starring in the 2007 television series, Tantei Gakuen Q. He debuted as a solo Artist in 2013 with his single, Mystery Virgin.
He signed with Johnny & Associates in Summer 2004 when he was 10 years old, and began working as a backup Dancer for the groups, Tackey & Tsubasa, NEWS, Kanjani8, and KAT-TUN.
His role as Semi in Grasshopper earned him Rookie Actor of the Year at the Japan Film Critics Awards in 2016.
He has sisters named Yamada Misaki and Yamada Chihiro.
He and Yuto Nakajima were both members of Hey! Say! JUMP.
