Irish founder of Tullow Oil which became one of Europe's largest oil businesses. In 2010, His stake in Tullow Oil was worth £74m.
He went to the University College Dublin and qualified as an accountant after training with R.J. Kidney & Co. from 1974 to 1978.
Prior to joining Tullow, he worked at Aer Lingus as a financial controller.
He has three children with his wife, Lorraine.
Willie Walsh of the International Airlines Group is also an Irish Entrepreneur.
