In partnership with the Jordanian government, his real estate holding company, Horizon Group, developed a swath of downtown Amman into a new commercial and residential area. The Boston University graduate is also majority owner of Globe Express, a logistics company.

Bahaa Hariri received a bachelor's degree from Boston University in 1990 and soon thereafter returned to Saudi Arabia to work in his family’s construction and development company, Saudi Oger, Ltd. In 2008, he was separated from his family's Business and now runs his own real estate and investment vehicle from Switzerland. He is also the chairman of the Al-Abdali Project in Jordan.
