Most well known as the mother of singer-songwriter Jacob Whitesides.
In May 2014, she joined the social media world by creating her Twitter account and posting the debut tweet "Hey girls and guys- I have a twitter!!!"
After a battle with cancer, she and her son announced she was cancer free in a series of July 2015 tweets.
She has two children, Jacob and Sierra Whitesides. Sierra has grown incredibly popular on social media.
Between 2015 and 2016, her son was dating another renowned pop singer, Bea Miller.
