Emmy Award winning Sportscaster best known for covering the Summer Olympics, the World Cup, the PGA Tour and Wimbledon.
After graduating from USC, he studied law at the University of Arkansas.
He worked as a play-by-play announcer for the Cincinnati Reds, the California Angels and the Colorado Rockies.
He was married to Anne Jones until his death, and they had two children together.
He was awarded the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Pete Rozelle Award.
