Competed as a member of Team Adam on the seventh season of The Voice in 2014. Since his appearance on the reality show, he has cultivated his audience by posting song covers to his I Am Damien YouTube channel.
His singing career began as a child performing in his father's church. Then, into college, he took a left turn when he began to study opera.
Before finding success on The Voice, he was working as a TSA agent at LAX, even surviving a terrorist attack and witnessing the death of a co-worker. He later went on to perform at his co-worker's funeral.
He grew up singing in his father Ardrey's church.
He and fellow Singers Matt McAndrew and Chris Jamison were among the final runners-up on the seventh season of The Voice.
