Russian classical pianist who rose to widespread fame for winning the 5th TV competition series The Nutcracker in 2004. He was also awarded the sixth prize at the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition.
He first played piano at age one and a half. He later enrolled at the Moscow Conservatory in 2010.
He earned third prize at the 2013 59 Busoni International Piano Competition. He released his debut album Absolute Chopin in February 2017.
He was taught to play piano by his mother.
He has been a frequent player of Frederic Chopin's compositions live in orchestral concerts.
