Brazilian model who earned the title of Miss Brazil 2004 and represented her home country in the Miss Universe pageant later that year. She was found dead in her apartment in Gramado, Brazil in June 2016.
She was studying to become a nurse at the time of the Miss Brazil pageant. She later studied English in Exeter, England.
She had a history of depression and had attempted suicide prior to her death.
Her brother alerted the police to the fact that she could not be reached at her apartment. Her body was discovered by the police shortly thereafter.
She and Marthina Brandt are both Miss Brazil winners.
