Frederic Joseph DeLongchamps was born on June 2, 1882 in Nevada. Prominent and prolific architect who designed the Nevada Buildings for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915. Before Fame
He had little formal training in architecture. He earned a degree in mining engineering at the University of Nevada in 1904. He lived briefly in San Francisco. 
Trivia
He was named Nevada State Architect in 1919. Since the position was eliminated in 1926, he became the only person to occupy it. 
Family Life
He adopted a son, Galen. His daughter-in-law, Joanne de Longchamps, became a famous poet and Artist.

He and Daniel Burnham were both renowned American Architect around the turn of the 20th century.
