One of the designers of Olympiapark in Munich, where the 1972 Olympic Games were held; founded Auer+Weber+Assoziierte.
He studied architecture at Stuttgart Technical University, from which he graduated in 1962.
He became a professor at Munich University of Applied Sciences.
He married in 1962 and had three children.
He was born in the same country as Architect Walter Gropius.
