New York based freelance hairstylist who founded her own company, Hair By Lin. She previously rose to fame on her YouTube channel HairbyLin, which has amassed over 80,000 subscribers as well as 7 million views and growing.
She originally started sharing tutorials and videos on her YouTube channel in September 2011.
She discovered her passion and talent for hair on her fifth birthday when her grandmother bought her a doll with lots of hair to play with.
She was born in Accra, Ghana. She has since relocated to New York.
She and Bre Papin are both hairstylists who've gained exposure on social media.
