Before Fame
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 1997 with degrees in journalism and economics. He began his career reporting for WSTM-TV Syracuse in 2000. He went on to join CBS News in 2007 as co-anchor on the Saturday Early Show. In October of 2017, he was selected to be the new permanent anchor for the CBS Evening News.
