Hall of Fame defenseman who played for six NHL teams in his 21-year-career. He was a four-time Stanley Cup Champion and three-time NHL All-Star.
He was drafted fourth overall by the L.A. Kings in 1980 and set NHL records for most points and assists by a rookie defenseman.
He went from being the scapegoat on a failing team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, to starring in a Stanley Cup-winning one, the Detroit Red Wings, during the 1996-97 season.
He grew up in Scarborough, Ontario Province, Canada. He married Nancy Murphy.
