Running back who began his college career at the University of Wisconsin in 2011. In 2013, he was a consensus Second-Team All-Big Ten selection and, in 2014, he was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. He was selected 15th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.
He attended Mary D. Bradford High School in Wisconsin, where he was named Gatorade Player of the Year.
He was a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award for the best running back in the country in 2013.
His father is Melvin Gordon, Sr.
He and fellow running back Montee Ball were teammates at Wisconsin.
