He began skating around age 14 in 1996. First interested in bikes, after seeing many to the soon-to-be-pro skaters in the San Fernando Valley, he decided to give it a try.
A hallmark of his career was participating in the skate video Mindfield.
He married Jen Taylor and together they have two daughters.
He credits skater Paul Rodriguez Jr for bringing him onto the City Stars team, which gave him his big break into pro skating.
