Known for her career throughout the online technological journalism field. In October 2015, she began her time as the anchor of Code Forward on MSNBC.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from California State University, East Bay in 2000. She subsequently earned her master's degree in sociology with a mass media emphasis from the University of Southern California in 2004.
She has had her work published in such publications as Wired, Variety Magazine, and TechCrunch. In 2015, she appeared on a litany of episodes of the podcast This Week in Tech as a featured guest.
She married FOX News anchor Clayton Morris in 2010. She has two children with him.
She has been interviewed by Matt Lauer as a guest on The Today Show on multiple occasions.
