Veteran defenceman that was originally taken as a sixth round pick in the 2011 NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils. Since then, he has played hockey professionally in the American Hockey League, the Kontinental Hockey League and the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In June 2023, he joined the Vaasan Sport.
Prior to his professional hockey career, he played for the Sherwood Park Kings. He also played for the Swift Current Broncos during his youth hockey career.
During his four-year span with the Albany Devils, he played in over 200 club hockey matches. He finished his career with the Albany Devils with the fourth most assists in club history.
