Singer known for being the frontman of the metal band Protest the Hero. Their albums Fortress, Scurrilous, and Volition were all top 10 hits in Canada, with Fortress topping the charts.
The band originally formed in 1999 under the name Happy Go Lucky, under which name they released one EP. They changed their name in 2002.
He's also known for his love of Star Trek, which was never more apparent than in the 2013 single "Clarity. The video games NHL 07, NHL 09, and NHL 2k9 all feature the band's music.
He grew up in Canada.
He's played with Chris Adler, who helped the band record the 2013 album Volition.
