Better known by the stage name Gringo, this reggaeton musician formed one half of the popular Puerto Rican music duo Baby Rasta & Gringo. He also released a 2007 solo album titled El Independiente.
At the age of ten, he began his career as a reggaeton Artist. Ten years later, he and Baby Rasta released their first studio album, New Prophecy.
He temporarily ended his association with Baby Rasta & Gringo in 2004, but resumed his membership in the duo in 2007.
He was born in Hato Rey, Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.
Wilmer Alicea, AKA Baby Rasta, released a 2006 solo album titled La Ultima Risa after the Baby Rasta & Gringo band briefly disbanded.
