New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the fantasy series Throne of Glass and her Court of Thorns and Roses saga, which is a loose retelling of Beauty and the Beast.
She majored in Creative Writing and minored in Religious Studies at Hamilton College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Her Throne of Glass series also includes five prequel novellas. She co-authored an online Tumblr series called The Starkillers Cycle with Susan Dennard.
She has lived in Pennsylvania with her husband Josh.
She and Harry Potter author JK Rowling both wrote young adult fantasy series.
