Singer-songwriter who can be viewed singing originals and covers of songs by MGMT and John Mayer on YouTube and various social media outlets. He competed on American Idols' 13th and 14th seasons in 2014 and 2015.
He started singing when he was six and began playing guitar and piano when he was twelve years old. Later, he attended Jasper High School in Jasper, Texas and Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
He released an EP titled Breathing Underwater which hit #40 on iTunes in 2014. He is a multi-instrumentalist with the ability to play acoustic, electric and bass guitar, as well as piano, ukulele, mandolin, harmonica and saxophone.
He was born in Galveston, Texas and raised in the small town of Jasper, Texas. His mother is named Rosalind and his father is named Douglas. He is the youngest of five with two sisters and two brothers.
He has opened for Andy Grammer, Parachute, Civil Twilight, and The Cab on a couple of tours. He lists some of his biggest inspirations as Chris Martin, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Lenny Kravitz, and Bono.
