Known for her roles in such Turkish television series as Hurrem Sultan and Selena, she also appeared in the films Ayakta Kal and Romantik Komedi.
As a student at Beykent University in Istanbul, Turkey, she took acting and arts management courses.
She began her screen acting career in a Turkish situation comedy titled Dadi.
In 2010, she became engaged to soccer player Arda Turan. They broke up in 2013.
She was born just one month before fellow Turkish screen Actress Ceyda Ates.
