She began her career in the entertainment industry as a VJ in Rio Grande do Soul at age 19. She also worked as a model, and participated in various international shows.
She made her feature film debut in 2007 in the film Cão sem Dono, for which she received 3 separate Best Actress awards in recognition for her work. In 2011, she earned a Cinema Brazil Grand Prize Best Actress award for her work on the film Elite Squad: The Enemy Within.
