Serial traveler and Blogger who has become widely known for his popular travel book series The Naked Traveler. She is also well known for making a round-the-world trip in 2012 and 2013.
In 2005, she launched her The Naked Traveler blog. It rapidly became the premiere travel blog in Indonesia. She previously worked as an English-Indonesian translator and Editor-in-Chief for Venture magazine.
In 2010, she won an Indonesia Travel & Tourism Award for being Indonesia's Leading Travel Writer.
She has a brother named Reinhard Hutagaol.
In 2017, a film about her life was made called Trinity, the Nekad Traveler. Maudy Ayunda portrayed her in the film.
