Popular gag Cartoonist who rose to fame during the 1940s for his contributions to Collier's and True.
He attended college at the University of Arizona before enrolling at the Art Institute in LA.
He would consistently get together with other cartoonists at White House restaurant in the picturesque beach town, Laguna Beach.
He and his wife died in a car accident in 1984.
Along with famous singer Linda Ronstadt, he studied at the University of Arizona.
