Music Composer and Pianist who rose to fame as a member of the Indonesian jazz-pop outfit Kahitna. He also served as a Celebrity judge on the talent show competition Indonesian Idol.
He began listening to jazz music at the age of five. His mother originally forbade him from pursing a career as a musician.
In the year 2000, he released a solo compilation titled Best Works Collection Yovie Widianto.
He and his wife Dewayani have two children.
During his illustrious career, he had the opportunity to collaborate with a number of fellow Musicians including pop singer Rio Febrian.
