French business executive who is best recognized for being the Chief Executive Officer of the Ubisoft entertainment company. He is also known for being a board member on several other companies and businesses including Remy Cointreau and Playwing Ltd.
After graduating with his degree in business, he and his brothers formed the Ubisoft company in 1986. It originally began as a publishers' game distribution company until he set up the first subsidiaries outside France in 1989. In 2000, he started serving as both the overall production and distribution manager for the company.
He is also known for having won a three year battle with the Vivendi entertainment company to keep the rights for the popular video game series Assassin's Creed.
He was born and raised in France and has four brothers who helped found the Ubisoft company with him.
