Violinist who won the Joseph-Joachim-Violinwettbewerbes Hannover when she was nineteen and the Förderpreis des Freistaates Bayern a year later in 2001.
Her mother immersed her in violin studies at the age of three.
She was a student of Anne-Sophie Mutter's after joining Freundeskreis, or "Circle of Friends."
Her mother is Japanese and her father is German; she was born in Munich.
Her mother was inspired to introduce her to violin because of the Suzuki teaching method, created by Shinichi Suzuki.
