Midfielder who became part of Belgium's national team in 2008 and joined Zenit St. Petersburg in 2012.

He was raised in Liege, Belgium, by a French Caribbean Father and a Belgian mother. He married Rafaella Szabo Witsel, and they have daughters named Mai Li and Evy.
