Bo Martyn was born in Swinoujscie, a city and seaport on the Baltic Sea and Szczecin Lagoon, located in the extreme north-west of Poland. She moved to Canada with her family at the age of three. She attended bilingual French- and English-speaking schools before dropping out in the 10th grade.

2013

Bo Martyn first made her appearance on screen as Anelie, the indecisive love interest to David Dineen-Porter's character in Pavan Moondi's feature comedy Everyday is like Sunday in 2013. She also appeared in Moondi's film Diamond Tongues starring Leah Fay Goldstein of July Talk.

2017

Martyn plays Frieda in the upcoming feature film State Like Sleep with Katherine Waterston, Michael Shannon and Luke Evans, and also appeared in Aaron Sorkin's directorial debut, Molly's Game, starring Jessica Chastain, which premiered at the 2017 Toronto international film festival.
