All-Star MLB pitcher who won the 2011, 2013 and 2014 National League Cy Young Awards and the 2014 NL MVP Award with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He helped the Dodgers reach the World Series in 2017.
Drafted by the Dodgers straight out of Texas' Highland Park High School, he skipped college and joined the minor leagues.
After winning the NL Cy Young in 2011, he had another stellar season leading the majors in ERA in 2012 for the second season in a row.
He married his longtime girlfriend Ellen Melson in December 2010. They have two children, Cali and Charley.
