Most well known for her vocal music contributions to the popular Pakistani TV program Coke Studio, she is also recognized for her acting work in such television series as Teesra Peher and Kabhi Kabhi.
She released her first hit song when she was just sixteen years old and made her television debut on the Pakistani program Hawayein.
She hosted several episodes of the music show BPL Oye!
Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, she often performs in the traditional Punjabi Bhangra music genre.
She is a contemporary of fellow Pakistani vocalist Annie Khalid.
