Television presenter for The 4.30 Show, as well as a pop musician who released a charting album called Overture in 2012. Charting singles of his include "Tear My Heart Out," "Holiday," "My Heart Won't Let Go" and "Girl Next Door."
While in attendance at Sacred Heart College, he won songwriting and performance awards such as the Auckland University Secondary School's Songwriter of the Year.
In 2011 and 2012 respectively, he was a finalist and semifinalist in the International Songwriting Contest.
He was born Massad Barakat-Devine in Auckland, New Zealand.
Jamie Curry co-wrote and starred in Massad's music video for his song "Girl Next Door" as the eponymous girl next door.
