Television and Bollywood film actor known for starring in the shows Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do, Tumhari Pakhi, and Sanjog Se Bani Sangini. He also appears in the films Fun2shh... Dudes in the 10th Century and Unforgettable.
After completing his education at the Lawrence School, he earned his first film credit in the 2002 movie Kuch Dil Ne Kaha.
He twice won the title of Best Actor at the 2005 and 2016 Kalakar Awards.
His father, Mohammed Amin Khan, was an officer in the Indian Civil Service. He is the youngest of four siblings. He met his wife, Sneha Chhabra, at a video album shoot. Together they have one daughter, Ammaara.
He stars opposite Mona Singh in 2015 Indian soap opera Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do.
