Born in Los Angeles, Sondra is the daughter of 40s movie actress Marie Harmon and the sister of twin singers/actresses Cherie Currie and Marie Currie. She originally planned on being a race car driver. Sondra made her film debut with an uncredited bit part in Howard Hawks' final Western Rio Lobo (1970). Her most memorable roles are a gutsy eager beaver lady cop in Policewomen (1974), one of Gloria Grahame's seductive daughters in Mama's Dirty Girls (1974), a cunning, fetching femme fatale in Teenage Seductress (1975), an unhappy housewife who goes on the lam with a hunky pool cleaner in Fugitive Lovers (1975) (aka The Runaways), a feisty lass who exacts a harsh revenge on the scummy guys who raped her in the gritty Western Jessi's Girls (1975), a hardened prison inmate in the seamy babes-behind-bars classic The Concrete Jungle (1982), and "Linda Garner" in the hit comedy The Hangover (2009).
