MMA fighter who is famous for her career fighting in both Invicta and the UFC as a strawweight. Her 2013 Invicta bout against Rose Namajunas, which she won by unanimous decision, was named by Bleacher Report as the 2013 women's MMA fight of the year.
She began training in taekwondo at age 3. She later earned her black belt at age 15. She debuted in professional MMA in 2012.
She won the UFC's Fight of the Night honor following her victory at The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale against Juliana Lima. She was named the 2013 strawweight of the year at the Women's MMA Awards. She has a degree in criminology from Florida Atlantic University.
She became engaged to fellow UFC fighter Raquel Pennington in May 2017.
She defeated Bec Rawlings in February 2017.
