He listened to a lot of jazz music growing up, which he would later incorporate into his tracks.
He often created tracks and produced the background music for Samurai Champloo, a highly popular hip-hop oriented anime based out of Japan.
In 2010, he died in car crash on the Shuto Expressway in Tokyo. He was 36 years old.
Both he and Princess Diana perished in car crashes.
