Hawaii born actor Kimee Balmilero has been performing professionally since 1994 thanks to her first paying gig as "Woody Woodpecker" at an Earth Day Fair. Other professional credits include: The 3X Emmy Nominated series "Hi-5," the Original Broadway Cast of "Mamma Mia," "Miss Saigon," and most recently, the recurring role of Dr. Noelani Cunha on "Hawaii Five-0." While working in NYC and LA for 15+ years, she studied improv & sketch comedy at the famed Uprights Citizens Brigade Theatre in Hollywood.She studied improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles and NYC.Since moving back to Hawaii in 2012, Kimee founded and is the "Head Sillypino" of Improv Hawaii a company and website dedicated to sketch and improv comedy in Hawaii.In March 2015, she created and produced the first ever Hawaii Sketch Comedy Festival at the Honolulu Museum of Art's Doris Duke Theater.

2003

In 2003, Balmilero joined the three-time Emmy nominated TV Series, "Hi-5" the American counterpart to the Australian kid's show Hi-5. As a member, she is the American counterpart of Sun Park (formerly Kathleen de Leon Jones, who is also of Filipino descent).

2006

In December 2006, Balmilero started a jewelry line called "Kimeejay."

2017

Balmilero left Hawaii at 17 and joined the 2nd National touring company of "Miss Saigon." After touring for almost three years she moved to San Francisco to study at Studio A.C.T. for six months. Balmilero then moved to New York City and was part of the Original Broadway Cast of "Mamma Mia!"
