Doctor who is known for her work in favor of medicinal cannabis. She is the founder and President of the IMPACT Network, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to researching the medicinal value of cannabis-based Medicine.
She obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology from Boston College. She then studied at the California Institute of Technology as a postdoctoral research scholar. Subsequently, she earned her doctorate in neuroscience from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
She appeared on the reality TV series Big Brother in 2009. She debuted during the show's 11th season and finished in 4th place. In July 2015, she had her first book, called Vitamin Weed: Get Healthy, Not High, published.
She was born and raised in the United States.
